This book is a page turner as the author’s main character takes us back in time from 1996 to the 30s era. A very interesting approach as the character goes back and forth in time in his mind, thus keeping the reader very engaged as the suspense unfolds.
When first started reading, I didn’t realize this book was about time travel. I love time travel books and was pleasantly surprised. This is a wonderful story with a satisfying conclusion. The parts mentioning the dog made me smile. You will enjoy this book!!
Firstly if I could have given it 3.5 stars I would have, it wasn't quite a 4 star for me.
The summary of this book is accurate, a man goes back to 1935 and ends up helping to build his own future house and getting involved with the family of the house builder and through using his future management skills helping them to get through the latter stages of the depression.
Sounds boring? its not the author tells the story very well and the characters are interesting and well developed, I don't do Time Travel Romance books however this one I think will satisfy both people who do enjoy them and those who enjoy the time travel aspect, yes there is a love interest but a large part of the book is the main character coming to terms and settling into his new environment.
The book builds up to a powerful ending (which I wont spoil) which was a satisfying end to the book. One thing I will say is that if you do enjoy time travel romance novels then you will likely give this 4 or even 5 stars, the likely 1.5 I took off was for the romance side of it.
A good book and one I would recommend given my comments above.

This book went in 10 different directions, all of them meandering down the path of blah, blah blah. I can usually read a book in a day or two. I kept closing this one, going to another. Just didn't keep my interest.
